Bekele Yutute owns three coffee farms in Bensa Woreda, Sidama: Dambi, Kokose, and Murago. Among these, Kokose is situated at the highest altitude, reaching 2,345 meters above sea level.
Bekele began cultivating JARC 74110 coffee at Kokose in 2021 in partnership with his brother-in-law, Samuel. Their efforts were quickly recognised, earning 5th place in the 2021 Cup of Excellence (CoE) and 3rd place in the 2024 CoE.
The Kokose farm is located on an open mountainside, where the temperature remains cool and the area is often covered in clouds.
