About this coffee

This coffee is consistently one of the top cupping Ethiopian coffees, testament to the excellence of its processing regimen and the hard work of the farming community supplying the mill.

Discover the distinctive character of this Grade 1 washed Ethiopian coffee from Banko Gotiti wetmill, located in the heart of Kochere district's Yirgacheffe region. Under the stewardship of Alemu Bukato, this facility brings together cherries from a cooperative of approximately 650 smallholder farmers, creating a coffee that reflects both individual terroir and collective craftsmanship.

The washed processing method enhances the coffee's vibrant acidity and nuanced flavour notes, revealing the region's signature floral and fruity characteristics. Each cup supports sustainable farming practices and direct relationships with Ethiopian producers, making this an ideal choice for specialty coffee enthusiasts who value transparency and quality.
